Project Overview:
Read Evolve is a personal development brand built around the power of intentional reading. With its fast-growing online book club and an upcoming bookstore, the platform exists to encourage young people (ages 15–25) to become more consistent readers and more intentional with their growth journey. My role was to design a visual identity that feels educational, aspirational, and calm — avoiding anything sharp, loud, or overwhelming.

The Challenge:
Read Evolve needed a visual identity that communicates structure without feeling rigid — a system that appeals to young people and reflects self-improvement without being too formal or academic. The design had to speak to growth, learning, and intentionality while remaining visually simple and memorable.
The Solution:
The final logo mark combines an open book and a mind silhouette, representing continuous reading and personal evolution. Paired with an approachable, growth-evoking typeface and a calm, educational color palette, the identity is built to inspire without overwhelming. The colors avoid anything too sharp, aligning with the brand’s tone of calm encouragement.
Results:
The identity now serves as a foundation for both Read Evolve’s current Book Club and the upcoming Bookstore. It captures the heart of the brand — reading as a lifestyle, growth as a pursuit — and provides the visual clarity needed across social, web, and email touchpoints.
